for the diehards, or those that plan to die hard, i have a new blog that, like this one, i rarely update. but at leasts it's "new" which, by a historian's standard, could encompass a century. or at least a few decades. oh, the address? it's this:
meand219.blogspot.com
it's a rip-off of this site
i suck at photography so sorry. i wanna get more into it, but alls i got is my digicam, will get into film shortly. speaking of which, i'm planning on filming a short documentary on my grandfather in the fall, so if anyone has access to a 16mm or anything of the sort, and is in the great state of California, leave a comment and i'll get back to you.
i moved to dc and will move again. i'm going to colombia in-between. and nyc. to visit the lovely emily kagan. it's been awhile.
i know probably only jimmy and maybe bruce and maybe maybe camilo will read this, so hi guys. it's been awhile. i'll see you all soon. the goal is to buy a one way ticket to the bay at the end of august or september.
and i think i'm well. but who knows. i do know i graduated and need to gain more weight and read more books.
peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeace.

Slolwy realizing that it's time to be productive. The double-shot of turning 21 and graduating stings without a plan for the future as a chaser.
Many a Bay Area goal has yet to be fulfilled, and I fear moving back to LA in June may jepordize that...or make me do something I've always wanted to do, which is tour.
Possible plan: move all belongings to LA in June, spend time there, get the hell outta dodge in July, come back whenever. See where the slams take me?
That's my plan for graduation. Use my History degree to write my own. Then we'll see.
I guess that's my update. It's been awhile. But now you know why.
Hope all are well.

Couple Sentenced for Hiring Son a Stripper
Fri Jul 8,10:59 AM ET
A couple pleaded guilty Thursday to hiring a stripper for their son's 16th birthday party and were sentenced to two years probation.
Landon and Anette Pharris, who were charged with contributing the delinquency of a minor, also were ordered to take parenting classes.
The parents hired the stripper to perform at a September party attended by about a dozen young people.
Cassandra Joyce Park, 29, who police say used the stage name "Sassy," danced for a few hours before partygoers took up a collection and paid her $150 more to fully disrobe, Anette Pharris said.
The stripper and the man she was with were also granted probation.
Police were tipped off to the party by a photo developer at a drug store who saw pictures of the occasion.
Pharris said after being arrested that she tried to do something special for her son.
"We even had grandpa there," she said.

spent today quiet. alone at a friend's apartment. couldn't listen to music without singing along. studying has never felt so forced. just like posturing as a college student.
if all else fails, ask them about what classes they are taking, majors, futures, internships, lsat or mcat, princeton prep or kaplan - see? meeting people isn't that hard after all. dry chapagne last night at old co-op as miniature soda can bombs exploded ironically in front of soda hall. hookah on doorsteps outside at midnight felt grand.
can't stop running away from things.
escape shouldn't feel this necessary. nor easy.
it's all sha clack clack anyway. moodiness. man periods. inversed machismo.
crazy to see the caps and gowns again. once distant, now a check away. not ready. never will be. maybe i'll get a free key chain.
summer starts the 18th. lego castles with heineken is the agenda. registration begins now.
songs of the day:
El-P "Intrigue in the House of India" - great track off HighWater and Collecting the Kid
The Decemberists "The Bachelor and the Bride"
The Unicorns "Jellycones"
